Magdalena Walbaum
I am a Research Officer in Social Care within the Care Policy and Evaluation Centre (CPEC) at the London School of Economics and Political Science. My main research interests focus on the economics surrounding mental health, long term care and its policy implications.
Prior to working at CPEC, I worked as a researcher in health economics and has been working with the Ministry of Health of Chile since 2015, providing evidence in public health, economic evaluations and modelling of non-communicable diseases for policy making.
I hold an MSc in Cardiorespiratory Rehabilitation and a PhD in Epidemiology, Public Health, and Health Economics; both from University College London, and an MSc in Health Economics from the University of York.
