Tong Ren
Tong is a PhD candidate in Social Policy at the University of Birmingham. Her current PhD research focuses on ‘The Feasibility and Financial Sustainability of the Long-Term Care Insurance (LTCI) System in China’. Based on the China Long-term Care Insurance System Pilot Database (CLIP) and secondary data from official reports/websites, Tong’s research will include a structured comparison of the design and content of China’s different long-term care insurance pilots, as well as an analysis of the financial sustainability of the various models being developed.
