Berta González Antón
Degree in Sociology from the Complutense University of Madrid.
Master’s Degree in Inclusion of People with Disabilities from INICO, University of Psychology of Salamanca.
Postgraduate in Mental Illness and Behavioural Alterations in People with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities. International University of Catalonia.
Currently (since 2021) she is an advisor to the State Secretary’s Cabinet for Social Rights of the Ministry of Social Rights and Agenda 2030 of the Government of Spain. She is involved in projects related to the change of the care model, deinstitutionalisation, social innovation, early care and other issues related to people with day-to-day support needs.
She has been technical director of Plena Inclusión España (Spanish Confederation of People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and their families). Where she coordinated projects related to the transformation of care and support models in organisations, person-centred planning, mental health, access to justice, among others.
She is also a trainer of masters, postgraduate and courses related to the support of people with support needs on topics related to the quality of life and support model, Person Centred Planning, Independent Living, Person Centred Services, Active Support and models of inclusion in Europe.
She has worked for 13 years in different support services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities at the Aprocor Foundation in Madrid.
