I have a PhD in Social & Policy Sciences from the University of Bath, UK, and have worked on projects on reablement services and post-stroke self-management among black people. I’m currently working on the VCSE Workforce Mapping project at the University of York, UK.

| Research interests | My research on social policy has two interrelated strands: (1) services at the interface of health and social care, e.g. long-term care (LTC), reablement, and post-stroke self-management, exploring themes around integration of services, access to care, and social/service innovations; (2) policy analysis, particularly policy processes, the determinants of policy development, and policy coherence. I have an active interest in mixed methods research. Through my PhD and post-doctoral projects, I have experience of using a range of research methods including interviews, focus groups, observation, co-production and surveys. |
