About the Integrated Long-Term Care Interest Group
This is a joint Special Interest Group between the International Foundation of Integrated Care (IFIC) and the Global Observatory of Long-term Care (GLTC).
Purpose
This Interest Group aims to facilitate collaboration across disciplines and countries to enhance our understanding, adoption, and evaluation of integrated long-term care. We want to create a space and opportunity to share knowledge and evidence to improve integrated long-term care policies and practices around the globe.
This Interest Group will build on the outputs of the Laurel project (an EU HORIZON-funded project aiming to create actionable policies and training tools to support high-quality integrated long-term care across Europe) and establish links with other relevant communities of practice and research.
Activities
The Interest Group will provide a platform to share implementation experiences, highlight examples of good practice, signpost practical resources, and agree and collaborate on research, education and evaluation priorities for integrated long-term care. The participants will shape the scope of SIG activities and outputs, making them an integral part of its success.
The activities may include:
- Webinars and online peer support
- Examples of case studies
- Practical resources- guidance and tools
- Study Visits
- Blogs
- Evidence reviews and consensus documents
- Collaborative action research
- Benchmarking
