Elaine Douglas

I teach on the MSc Gerontology and Global Ageing at the University of Stirling. This reflects on my work on the Healthy Ageing In Scotland (HAGIS, www.hagis.scot/) study and with other global ageing studies (g2aging.org) and as Programme Manager on the Healthy Ageing Challenge.

My PhD in Public Health from University College London addressed socioeconomic inequalities in cervical cancer screening.  Previously, I was awarded a BSc in Psychology at the University of Stirling (2008) and MSc in Health, Community & Development at the London School of Economics (2009).
