The Community-Based Approaches to Dementia Care Interest Group focuses on understanding policy approaches to better support people living with dementia and dementia care partners outside of licensed long-term care settings (e.g., care homes). The research and policy interests of this group also include paid care and supports such as in-home care, respite, and other community-based options. This group will draw together multinational, multidisciplinary researchers along with policy practitioners with an interest in dementia care and support. Qualitative and mixed-methods research approaches are encouraged.
