About the Qualitative Research Interest Group

The Qualitative Research Interest Group aims to bring together researchers at any career stage who are engaged in or interested in qualitative approaches in health and care research. The group provides a space to share ideas, experiences, and challenges related to qualitative research. We welcome discussions on a wide range of themes such as the role of qualitative research in influencing policy and practice, ethical practices in qualitative research, cross-cultural and international research, decolonising methodologies, and the practical and theoretical issues that affect qualitative work. The group seeks to foster critical reflection and mutual learning among members from different disciplinary backgrounds, working in different settings and with different populations, and using a variety of qualitative methods and methodologies.

Steering group

This group is led by Chiara De Poli, the interest group members will be listed shortly.
