In this post Stacey Rand (University of Kent) introduces the Adult Social Care Outcomes Toolkit (ASCOT), a suite of tools designed to measure the effect of long-term care (LTC) services on people’s lives, by asking them about the things that matter to them and are most likely to be affected by services. ASCOT has been used translated into multiple languages and is used both for research and LTC practice.
