Europe’s ageing societies continue to pose significant challenges for long-term care systems, which must adapt to provide more integrated, equitable, and person-centred solutions. Building on the momentum of the 2025 webinar, this second session brings together the BUILD, LeTsCare, and Laurel EU Horizon projects to share first results, reflect on learning, and discuss how these findings can inform future policies and practices.
Through comparative insights and open discussion, the webinar will highlight common threads in research and implementation, with a view to supporting European cooperation and innovation in integrated long-term care.
Agenda:
- Opening remarks, recap of the joint SIG collaboration
- Recap on the projects presenting today
- Presentation of early findings from each project:
- BUILD: progress and insights on system integration and governance.
- LeTsCare: preliminary evidence on integrative practices in context
- Laurel: first outcomes on territorial inequalities and care coordination.
- Panel discussion: Learning, synergies, and policy implications.
- Audience discussion: reflection on how the projects’ insights can inform future LTC reforms and practices across Europe.
- Next steps and invitation to the next webinar
