Higher Scientific Officer:
The post-holder will be based in Fajara with trips across the country to project sites. He/she will assist in the planning, conduct, management and oversight of research activities of the study. Main duties will include running field activities, supervising field team, conducting in-depth interviews and focus group discussions, transcribing audio recordings, translating trial measures and study material, daily de-briefing with field staff, weekly de-briefing with line manager, writing field reports, analysing study data, and taking a leading role in the writing of the study manuscript for publication. In addition, he/she will support community engagement activities across the country as required by the project. The appointment is for 3 years and subject to a probationary period of 6 months.
