Research interests | My research interests lie at the intersection of technology, aging, and long-term care, particularly in how gerontechnology can enhance the quality of life for older adults in both institutional and community settings. I am especially interested in digital inclusion for older populations, the use of assistive technologies in long-term care institutions (LTCs), and the role of data-driven strategies in improving elderly care. Another key area of my research focuses on the development of public policies to address the growing demand for long-term care, ensuring sustainable, high-quality, and person-centered solutions. Additionally, I explore the impact of communication and social engagement on the aging process, aiming to develop strategies that reduce social isolation and empower older adults through technology. My goal is to bridge the gap between innovation and elderly care, ensuring that digital transformation benefits aging populations worldwide. |
