Angely Garcia

Prof. Angely Garcia is a Registered Nurse by profession. She is currently a Research Assistant Professor 2 at the Institute on Aging, National Institutes of Health, UP Manila. She is also an Affiliate Faculty Member of the Public Health Specialty Group of the UP College of Nursing and a PhD in Health Sciences (By Research) student in UP Manila.

Her works at the Institute on Aging include research, training, and extension services related to the geriatric assessment, health systems on aging, data governance and health information system, mental health, and long-term care. Asst. Prof. Garcia actively participated in various international training programs relevant to aging. She co-authored various publications, policy briefs, and papers for presentation to local and international aging conferences.
