Anik Debrot

For over a decade, I have dedicated my research to understanding positive relationship processes, with a special focus on affectionate touch in couple relationships. My current work centers on developing and evaluating internet-based interventions designed to support individuals facing challenging relationship situations, such as coping with loss, navigating separation, or transitioning to parenthood.

Utilizing a diverse array of research methods—including randomized controlled trials, co-design, and qualitative research—I aim to create interventions that are both useful and relevant. A key aspect of my work is ensuring the diversity of participants and addressing a wide range of relationship challenges.
