Birgit Trukeschitz
Birgit is Co-Director of the Research Institute for Economics of Aging at WU Vienna University of Economics and Business. She leads the research themes “Digitalisation and long-term care” and “Quality of life and long-term care”. She completed her PhD in Economics and her habilitation in Socioeconomics (venia docendi) at WU. Birgit was a Visiting Research Fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE, PSSRU), the University of Kent (PSSRU) and the German Center of Gerontology (DZA) in Berlin, Germany.
