David Palomera

David Palomera

David Palomera is an MSCA-Cofund postdoctoral researcher at the University of Southern Denmark. He holds a PhD in Public Policy from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He also holds a BSc in Economics from Pompeu Fabra University and a double MSc degree in Economics from the University of Warwick and Lund University. His academic research mainly focuses on public policies around the welfare state, social care and sustainability. He’s particularly interested in transitioning welfare states towards care, communitarian, democratic and sustainable logics. He has also conducted social transfer and collaborations with public and non-profit organisations to produce reports and policy briefs on welfare state policies, social care and economics. He’s a member of the Transforming Care Network and Espai08.
