Elisa Pozo Menéndez

Elisa Pozo Menéndez holds a PhD in Architecture and Urbanism, with specialization in Sustainable Cities (UPEM-IFU, 2014) and Environment and Bioclimatic Architecture (MAYAB-UPM, 2019). She works as freelance, she is co-founder of mita atelier and since 2022 she is researcher at Matia Instituto Gerontológico. She collaborates with Observatorio2030 from Consejo Superior de Colegios de Arquitectos de España (CSCAE). She is passionate about urban health, healthy ageing and how design can offer an inclusive environment for everyone. She is co-author of the “Guide for planning Healthy Cities” published by the Ministry of Health of Spain and the FEMP. In 2022 she was selected in the ranking of the “35 under 35” most influential people in Spain and Madrid in the world of engineering and architecture, and in 2020 she received the 3rd Young Talent-Youth Card award from the Community of Madrid in the category of Solidarity.
