Enrico De Luca

Enrico has extensive professional experience in nursing practice and education within both pre-registration and post-graduate academic settings. He has worked in various NHS environments in Italy and the UK, specializing in critical care nursing.

After earning his doctorate in social psychology and educational research, he advanced his career in research and education, contributing to the universities of Parma and Novara in Italy, and more recently, Exeter University.

Enrico has researched and published findings on several topics, including the impact of touch interactions in caregiving, interprofessional education and care, palliative and end-of-life care, and the role of spirituality in care. He strongly believes in the value of interdisciplinary, international, and multi-method research, which has led him to participate in international projects in the USA, Thailand, and Ghana.
