Evrim Erol

Department of Educational Sciences, Kütahya Dumlupınar University

Evrim Erol

Evrim Erol is an Associate Professor of Educational Administration in the Department of Educational Sciences, Faculty of Education, at Kütahya Dumlupınar University (Türkiye). He completed her PhD at Pamukkale University, where her doctoral research examined the relationship between organizational climate and perceptions of organizational politics in faculties of education, with a particular interest in how institutional behaviour is shaped through rules, routines, and power relations. This line of inquiry continues to anchor her work: how legitimacy, accountability, informal norms, and decision-making processes are established in organizations, and how actors develop “working” regulatory practices under conditions of uncertainty and pressure.

His scholarship sits at the intersection of organizational governance, professional ethics, and institutional regulation, focusing especially on educational organizations and higher education. He has worked across themes such as organizational politics, political tactics, organizational cynicism, leadership, and organizational structures. In addition to quantitative research designs, his experience with scale development and adaptation enables her to engage empirically with standardization, compliance, oversight, and trust mechanisms in educational settings. His teaching portfolio (including morality and ethics in education, academic writing, and organizational behavior) and graduate supervision keep her close to professional decision points—those moments where rules are produced not primarily in policy texts, but in practice.
