Gibrán Cruz-Martínez

Assistant Professor at the Complutense University (Madrid, Spain) and Coordinator of the Master’s in Political Analysis. My research focuses on comparative health/social/LTC policies, welfare regimes, determinants of welfare state development, poverty, and inequality. I work mainly on Spain, Latin America, and the Caribbean. My latest peer-reviewed articles appear in journals such as International Journal of Health Planning and Management, Journal of Politics in Latin America, Swiss Political Science Review, and Administration & Society, among others. I am an Editorial Board member of Alternautas, and Community and Interculturality in Dialogue, as well as a member of the International Editorial Advisory Board for Social Policy & Society. I am also a co-convenor of the ECPR Standing Group on Political Economy and Welfare State Politics.
