Research interests | She researches the governance of care in a context of the Nordic welfare state and care regimes from a feminist perspective. Throughout her work there has been an attention to the framing of policy problems, the translation of policy ideas, neo-liberalizing and silencing of elements of care. Dahl has worked with issues of recognition and redistribution in relation to formalized care work, i.e. care workers and care professionals within long term care. Dahl has participated in national and European research projects, published in leading, international journals and published many co-written or co-edited books. Most recently, Dahl has researched the care crisis in the Nordic welfare regimes and studied the europeanisation of long term care as an emerging policy field. |
