Research interests | My key research interests are in relation to people with dementia and their families; particularly communication and lie-telling, personhood, relationship-centred care, ageism, stigma and language. I am also interested in how we support people with dementia and diabetes and other co-morbid conditions. My main experience is with qualitative methods, specifically ethnography but I am developing my skills with other methodologies. |
