Jeff Hughes

Jeff Hughes is currently the Chief Scientific Officer of PainChek Ltd, whilst holding an Emeritus Professor appointment in the Curtin Medical School, Curtin University, Bentley, Western Australia. Jeff is a former Head, School of Pharmacy (2009-2014) at Curtin University. He is one of the co-inventors of PainChek together with Dr Mustafa Atee and Professor Kreshnik Hoti. A pharmacist by profession, Jeff has worked in hospital pharmacy, community pharmacy, aged care pharmacy, academia and industry. He has received over $13M in research grants and published over 300 research nd professional papers and contributed to 39 books. Jeff is a former Vice President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia, and has held representative roles in the Pharmaceutical Society of Western Australia, the Society of Hospital Pharmacist of Australia and Australian Association of Consultant Pharmacy.
