Jiri Svojse

I am a Czech national with extensive experience in social policy and EU affairs. I have worked for the European Commission as a Seconded National Expert, focusing on long-term care. Previously, I served as a Social Attaché at the Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the EU (within the Council of EU), negotiating on various social policy directives (EU law) . I also have a one year experience from the European Committee of the Regions and ten year experience from the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic, where I was involved in social protection and inclusion from the European perspective. I hold a Master’s degree in Management of civil society organizations and coordination within the Civil Sector. I am proficient in English and have basic knowledge of German and French.
