I am a Senior Lecturer in Social Policy and member of the Poverty and Social Justice Research Centre (School for Policy Studies) and the QStep Centre at the University of Bristol (UK). Prior to uptaking this academic position I was a Lecturer in Social Policy at the University of Kent (UK). I hold an BSc degree in Economics (University of Salamanca, Spain), a MSc degree in Social Policy (University of Leuven, Belgium) and a PhD in Sociology (University of Cambridge, UK).
