Mauricio Matus López

PhD. in Economics, Associate Professor in the Department of Economics, Quantitative Methods and Economic History at Pablo de Olavide University in Seville, Spain. Member of the Spanish Association of Economic History, the Ibero-American Research Network on Work, Gender and Everyday Life, and the Research Group on Ecological, Feminist and Development Economics. He has worked with Latin American governments through the Pan American Health Organization, the International Labour Organization, and the Inter-American Development Bank. He has two decades of experience in health and care systems in Latin America. His research incorporates an interdisciplinary approach drawing from economics, history, and gender studies
