Milutin Vracevic

Milutin Vračević, MD, MPH, is a medical doctor, public health researcher, and PhD candidate at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade. Since 2001, he has served as an Expert Associate at the Red Cross of Serbia, where he designs and manages initiatives focusing on older persons, population ageing, long-term care, informal caregiving, and psychosocial support. His work bridges empirical research, public policy analysis, and rights-based advocacy, addressing systemic barriers, gender inequalities, financial abuse, and social inclusion of older populations in Serbia and the Western Balkans. He actively contributes to international policy processes, including the UN Open-Ended Working Group on Ageing (OWGA) in New York, the UNECE Standing Working Group on Ageing (SWGA) in Geneva, and the AGE Platform Europe Task Force on Dignified and Healthy Ageing. He has also carried out expert assignments for international organizations, including OHCHR, WHO, UNDP, and GIZ.
