Oliver Stirrup
I am a Senior Research Fellow working as a statistician at the University College London Institute for Global Health. After completing my PhD on statistical methodology for longitudinal data analysis in 2016, I have worked on observational studies and cluster trials in infectious diseases. My initial focus of research was on sexual health, but since the COVID-19 pandemic I have also worked on analyses of infectious diseases within healthcare settings. Since 2021, I have worked on the VIVALDI Social Care study. This study was initially focused on the impact of COVID-19 on care homes within England, but now has a broader scope covering all infectious diseases in this setting.
