Pablo Villalobos Dintrans

Pablo Villalobos Dintrans is Associate Professor and Chair of the School of Public Health at Universidad Mayor, Chile. His areas of interest are public health and health policy as well as economics and public policy. In Chile, Pablo has worked for Ministries of Economy, Finance, and Health. As a consultant, Pablo has worked for different organizations in areas such as monitoring and evaluation, health policies, health financing, health systems, population aging, and long-term care. Since 2007, he has taught several courses in economics, public policy, and public health at different universities.

He is associated to the Millennium Institute for Caregiving Research (MICARE), RIES-LAC Gerontology, and the WHO Global Network on Long-Term Care and serves in the editorial board of the journals Health Systems & Reform, Journal of Long-Term Care, and Public Policy & Aging Report.

Pablo holds a BA in economics and business, as well as a master in economics and public policy from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He also has a MA in economics from Boston University, and received his doctoral degree in public health (DrPH) from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
