MICARE

Raffaela Carvacho

I have dedicated much of my professional career to gerontology and to working with older adults and caregivers. I have worked directly with patients and their families in a public hospital, taught at the university level, engaged in research on health and gerontology topics, and currently serve as the research coordinator at the Millennium Institute for Care Research (MICARE). I am a psychologist with a master’s degree in health psychology, and I will soon begin a PhD to further explore the relationship between demographic aging and the challenges posed by the climate crisis.
