Sara Ardila-Gómez

Researcher and lecturer with over 20 years of experience in health systems and services, specializing in the generation and use of evidence to inform mental health public policies in Latin America.

Proven track record in the design, implementation, and evaluation of mental health policies, programs, and services at national and subnational levels, with a strong focus on the development of information systems. Experience bridging academia and public sector management, including collaboration with institutions and international organizations.

Extensive experience leading multicenter projects, applied research, and integrating evidence into decision-making processes, as well as managing knowledge networks. Strong commitment to strengthening mental health systems from a rights-based and global health perspective, across training, intervention, and management settings.
