I am a health economist and joined Health Economics Group of Newcastle University in September 2022 as a Research Associate. During my professional career, I have collaborated with number of different international organizations including World Health Organization, RAND Europe, United Nation Development Program and United Nation University. As a health economist, I have specifically been involved in different national and global multidisciplinary research projects concerning health and social care. My PhD thesis was an economic evaluation of a mental health service model in Iran. I have also worked on older persons’ care and social protection and investigated these areas in terms of financing, costing and service delivery.
