Tomoko Wakui

Tomoko Wakui obtained her Ph.D degree in Health Science in 2012 at the Department of Social Gerontology, School of Health Sciences & Nursing, Graduate School of Medicine, the University of Tokyo, Japan. She has been conducting researches in the field of social welfare and social gerontology, such as research on caregiving burden and developing support programs for family caregiver, as well as evaluation research on the long-term care insurance system for older adults and their family caregivers in Japan. She is a researcher at Tokyo Metropolitan Institute of Gerontology, Tokyo Japan since 2013.
