Main activities and responsibilities: Enhancing and improving conditions for nursing care in social services facilities in Slovakia, negotiating with ministry representatives, preparing arguments, conducting surveys for data collection, actively participating in inter-ministerial comment processes, legislative change proposals, and organizing and participating in APSS SR conferences and educational events.

Main activities and responsibilities: Leading expert groups, developing national diagnostic and therapeutic standards, organizing and participating in workshops, presenting standards to the MZ SR commission, and preparing media materials.

  • Implementing a Quality Management System (QMS) in the newly established organization and successfully obtaining ISO certification, building an model of excellence
  • Managing professional activities and human resources
  • Coordinating the organization’s participation in the National Quality Award 2014, (winner in category C3)
  • Initiating and coordinating the implementation of proprietary accredited caregiving courses
  • Initiating and coordinating the “Senior Boxes” project
  • Initiating and coordinating the “Malina Portal” project – a National Navigator of Accessible Services in Cases of Disability (aiming to prevent helpless situations and worsening conditions due to delayed necessary services)

  • Actively assisting in the development and review of legislation concerning nursing homes, creating nursing documentation, internal procedures, and organizing and managing nursing care within the facility
  • Coordinating and managing nursing care within the Home Nursing Agency (ADOS)
    • Successfully implementing a project from 2005 – 2010 linking nursing and educational care for severely disabled children in specialized kindergarten classes in Humenné, and since 2008 in Michalovce (first time in Slovakia)
    • Establishing and implementing a Quality Management System (QMS) in 2009 in accordance with ISO standards, resulting in the certification of Ošetrovateľské centrum s.r.o.
