A fully funded three-year PhD fellowship in the SIRPA project at Roskilde University, Denmark, with professor Tine Rostgaard. The PhD will explore the role of community in ageing and changing welfare states, with a particular focus on governance, inequality and boundary-making in community-based support. The position is part of a research-practice collaboration between Roskilde University, VIVE – The Danish Center for Social Science Research, and Hørsholm Municipality, funded by the VELUX Foundation.

 We are looking for a theoretically curious social scientist with strong qualitative research skills and proficiency in Danish, Norwegian or Swedish who would like to work with us in our interdisciplinary team. You’ll receive a monthly salary, paid vacation, pension contributions, etc. In addition to conducting research, you will be expected to complete course work and conduct teaching/supervision.
