The World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Office for Europe with the support of the European Union and in close collaboration with Eurocarers have developed an online training course “Self-care and care competences for informal caregivers”.

The course will be launched on:

22 October 2025 at 10:45 CET

Informal caregivers play an essential role in ensuring that people with care and support needs can live with dignity. Yet, caregivers often lack the information and resources they need. This course was created to:

• support caregivers in protecting their own health and well-being,
• provide practical guidance on caring for older people,
• and connect caregivers to further resources and support.
