Live-in care work is worldwide characterized by precarious working conditions, low payment, and limited access to social and labor rights globally. Alongside concerns about the exploitation of migrant care workers, an increasing discourse has emerged around the need for the professionalization of home-based care. The Global Observatory of Long-Term Care (GOLTC) will be hosting a webinar to discuss concepts and theories about professionalism and professionalization, based on an empirical research conducted in Hungary.

The webinar will cover:
