The Quasi-Experimental Methods Interest Group will bring together academics, policymakers, and practitioners with an interest in knowing how we could better evaluate causal effects of long-term policies and interventions. This cluster will be strongly methodological, but it will also potentially shed light on what works in long-term care. In this sense we believe that methods matter and have a real impact. Our main aim is to provide a platform for knowledge exchange and generating new methodological ideas, to enhance the quality of research in the area of long-term care. For this, we will organise regular webinars where members engage in lively discussions, exchange novel approaches, and share valuable research findings. Collaboration and collegiality will promote the discussion of technical topics in a friendly and inclusive way, where everyone can learn.
