About the Care Home Markets and Regulation interest group
The care home markets and regulation interest group aims to support knowledge exchange about regulatory and market shaping policies to improve the quality and outcomes of residential-based care by open collaboration between academics, policymakers, practitioners, and providers. In doing so, we will pay particular attention to the potential and limitations of market incentives, competition, transparency, and their impact on care quality and outcomes.
To this end, the group will organise regular webinars to share empirical research findings and create a platform for live discussions between participants from various countries. We endeavour to disseminate the knowledge gained from the Group’s work beyond its boundaries.
