Are you interested in continence care in ageing and would like to know the latest initiatives internationally? Then attend this introductory webinar from the newly formed Continence Care in long-term care Interest Group. Continence care for long-term residents has largely remained unchanged since the 1990s, despite profound changes in the long-term care population. Research points out deficiencies in education, awareness, attitudes, best practice and the long-term care environment. Isn’t it time to do something to change things? Hear what others are doing and about the direction of travel from a group of interested front line clinicians and researchers who have come together to change continence care and its delivery for the better quality of life of older adults.

The webinar will cover:

1. Introduction to the Global Observatory of Long-Term care and welcome (Adelina Comas-Herrera, Care Policy and Evaluation Centre, LSE, UK)
