Connect with the Data Science Interest Group to explore how AI could help close gaps in brain health care!
More than three billion people worldwide are affected by brain health conditions, yet access to specialist care remains unequal. Multimodal AI combined with edge and cloud computing could support continuous, passive monitoring of motor, cognitive, and mental health, including in underserved communities. The Global Observatory of Long-Term Care (GOLTC) will host a webinar featuring Dr. Kwon’s research and exploring how these tools could extend support through telehealth platforms and community clinics.
The webinar will cover:
- Introduction to the Global Observatory of Long-Term care and welcome (Adelina Comas-Herrera, Care Policy and Evaluation Centre, LSE, UK)
- Introduction to the GOLTC Data Science Interest Group (Jiyoun Song, PhD, University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, USA)
- Presentation: A New Frontier in Brain Health: Patient-oriented Artificial Intelligence and Ubiquitous Behavior Sensing (Hyeokhyen Kwon, PhD, Department of Biomedical Informatics, School of Medicine, Emory University, USA)
- Discussion Tommy Henderson-Reay, PhD, NHS England
