How are different countries developing and strengthening their Long-Term Care (LTC) systems?

The LTC Policy interest group will meet regularly to share developments on LTC policy in their countries and localities, develop LTC systems profiles, and share papers and resources on LTC policy analysis.

In this first webinar, we introduce the GOLTC LTC policy interest group and hear about recent policy developments in China, France, Japan and Sweden.

The webinar will cover:

1. Introduction to the Global Observatory of Long-Term care and the LTC policy interest group and welcome (Adelina Comas-Herrera, Care Policy and Evaluation Centre, LSE, UK).
2. National perspectives on recent LTC policy developments:
   • China (Cheng Shi, Lignan University, Hong Kong)
   • France (Camille Oung, Nuffield Trust, UK)
   • Japan (Ruru Ping, Hitotsubashi University, Japan)
   • Sweden (Lennarth Johansson, Jönköping University, Sweden)
3. Discussion about the LTC policy interest group and next steps
