Are you interested in Long-Term Care Policy and would you like to know about the latest developments internationally?
On the 26th February, the Global Observatory of Long-Term Care (GOLTC) hosted the first webinar of the GOLTC Long-Term Care Policy Interest Group. The webinar brought together experts on Long-Term Care in China, France, Japan and Sweden to share and discuss recent policy developments in those countries.
The webinar covered:
- Introduction to the Global Observatory of Long-Term care and welcome (Adelina Comas-Herrera, Care Policy and Evaluation Centre, LSE, UK).
- Introduction to the Long-Term Care Policy Interest Group (Wei Yang, King’s College London, UK)
- National perspectives on recent LTC policy developments:
- China (Cheng Shi, Lignan University, Hong Kong)
- France (Camille Oung, Nuffield Trust, UK)
- Japan (Ruru Ping, Hitotsubashi University, Japan)
- Sweden (Lennarth Johansson, Jönköping University, Sweden)
- Discussion about the LTC policy interest group and next steps (chaired by Johanna Fischer, University of Bremen, Germany)
